Carbon Hunter with Maple Burl

This is the first knife that my son Michael and I made together. The maker's mark is "Ruth Knives" to show this. This hand forged carbon steel hunter is made from 5160 steel. It has a blade length of 4 3/16 inches. The Spacer and pins are stainless steel.The handle is made from Maple Burl, with a stainless thong hole. This knife has an overall length of 8 1/4 inches. This knife comes with a Kenny Rowe sheath.

The Handle is Amber Dyed Sambar Stag. This knife comes with a Kenny Rowe Sheath and custom Zipper Case.

This Bowie is forged from 5160
Carbon Steel. The blade is 9 1/2"
The Guard is 416 Stainless Steel.
The Ferrule is 416 Stainless & Silicone Bronze. The handle is Sambar Stag.The over all length of the knife is 14 1/8". This knife comes with a Kenny Rowe Sheath, and zippered case.

Carbon Hunter

This knife was made by my son Michael, and myself. The maker's mark "Ruth Knives" shows this.This is a small hand forged carbon hunter with Thuya Burl handle. The blade length is 3 7/8 inches, with an overall length of 8 inches. Made from 5160 Carbon Steel. This hunter/skinner is
great for in the field or around camp. The compact size makes it a great choice for the veteran hunter, or for that youngsters first hunting knife. It's perfect for small game. This knife comes with a Kenny Rowe sheath.

This knife is forged from 5160 Carbon Steel. The Blade is 11 3/4" long with an OAL of 17 3/8". It has 416 Stainless Steel guard & ferrule. It has a curly maple handle. This knife comes with a Kenny Rowe sheath, and custom zippered case.

Southwest Bowie

This bowie is hand forged from 5160 carbon steel and the blade is approximately 8" long with an overall length of 13 1/8 inches. The guard & pins are stainless steel. The escutcheon is made of German silver, and the ferrule is fine silver. The handle is made from African Blackwood with a hand rubbed finish.

This Fighter is forged from high carbon 5160 steel. It has a stainless steel guard, pins, and fileworked ferrule. The clip point blade is 6 3/16 inches long with a hand rubbed finish. The overall length is 11 inches. The handle is maple with a single fingergroove. Zippered case is included.

This Trail Boss is a hunter made from 5160 high carbon steel with a blade length of 6 1/2 inches. The overall length of this knife is about 11 1/4 inches. The guard, ferrule, pins and thong hole tube are all made of stainless steel. The handle is sheephorn.

Sidekick

This is my sidekick model. This one is made from 5160 Carbon steel.The Blade length is 4 5/8" long with an OAL of 9 1/4". The handle is Mammoth Ivory.This knife had a number of first with it. The first frame handle I've made, the first time I used Mammoth, and the first knife I put my 5 yr stamp on.

Buckaroo

This is one of the knives featured in the 2005 "Knives Illustrated" June issue. This knife has quickly become popular with hunters and collectors alike.

This Buckaroo skinner has a 5160 high carbon steel blade that is 3 1/4 inches long and it's sweeping 2 inch long guard really protects the users hand. The guard and spacers are made of German silver and the pins are stainless steel. The handle material is stabelized spalted maple.

The Rangler

The Rangler is a trailing point hunter and is hand forged from 5160 carbon steel. The guard is stainless steel as are the pins. The handle is made of desert ironwood. The blade length is approximately 4 1/2 inches and the overall length is about 9 1/2 inches long. The size of this knife along with the trailing point makes this knife a great choice for the field, or around the camp.
